Subject: Sigh...I miss my 80's music.

Hey fellow 80's nostalgics. I started thinking about fabulous 80's music after I watched my new, absolutely amazing "One Night in Paris" Depeche Mode DVD. Oh, how I miss 80's bands like Tears for Fear, Duran Duran, REO Speedwagon, Devo, and even A-ha. Where did they all go? At least my alltime fav 80s group Depeche is still around, in DVD form to boot. Anyways, I know you all miss your 80s music, so I was wondering what you miss the most, and if there are other Depeche fans out here cause I would love to talk. There's even a cool Depeche site I just found where you can earn prizes. http://www.ufanz.com/teams/depechemode Me like prizes. So if your a Depeche fan, or a fan of 80s music we can all celebrate the fact that some parts of the 80's are still around, but I wish there was more. Later folks!

I'll check out the Depeche Mode site. But yes, 80s music is very missed. It makes me feel great that the world had had some good music eleven/twentytwo years ago whenever I hear it on the radio, but sad that we have to resort to copying, not emulating this such music in the last couple of years. All these samples just make me sick with rage that nobody could come up with anything as good, especially now, in the era of digital music technology.

But I digress nostalgically. The 80s rocked, and, unless we can find some similar ideas musicwise now, I'm afraid I can't think of this decade so highly.
