first off, let me say you guys are great 8) !! but I need help with who sang " Life in a Northern Town " think it was early 80's , maybe late 70's . thanks !!

The "Ah hey um um um um" part of the chorus was also recently sampled/ripped-off in some other song. Within the last year, I think...

???OK now my brain is turning to rot.I do recall hearing the mystery song with the sample of Life in a Northern Town and saying to myself "hey bud I know that tune"but at the moment I can't remember what that new tune is.Does anyone have any ideas????

If it's a dance type song you're thinking of, it's "Sunchyme" by Dario G. Came out in '98 or '99...
