Subject: "Square Pegs"

I recently caught an episode of "Square Pegs" on the satellite channel TV Land. It was so good to see it again! Brings back memories...

Totally loved this show!

Oh how I wanted to attend Weemawee High School and be best friends with Jennifer so I could borrow her clothes LOL.

square pegs, square pegs
square, square pegs!!

always never quite right...
i’d like it if they liked us, but I don’t think they like us...
so tell me where’s the party, and how come we weren’t invited?
one size does not fit all.

don’t wanna wear my glasses, I have to wear my glasses...
why are we wearing this year what they were wearing last year?
yeah...i’d be cuter without gum in my braces...
I hope the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts...

It's hard to believe the two nerd girls were Sarah Jessica Parker and Jami Gertz.

Actually the two "nerd" girls were played by Sarah Jessica Parker and Amy Linker.
Jamie Gertz played a peppy freshman who was Captain of the JV Pep Squad, chairman of the Weemawee Pep Committee, head of the Morals Club, chairman of the Science Fair Committee, member of the Future Nurses of America. (info from a Square Pegs Web Site) I guess that could be considered "nerdy"  :)

OK show, only liked the debut episode & the one that featured Devo. I tend to find Sarah Jessica Parker annoying.

I find SJP annoying NOW, but I didn't then, apparently.  I absolutely loved this show and was bewildered when it was cancelled.  Is Square Pegs still on TV Land now?

It's still on Friday and Saturday at 1:00 am on TV Land. Can you believe only 20 episodes were made? It seemed like more.

didn't the blonde once comment that her dad took nude pictures of her when she was a little girl and sold it for a small fortune to the kiddy porn underground?  ???
