Hi!  I remember having Bubble Bags during the 80's.  I couldn't find them on the 80's list, so maybe they were known as something else...  Remember- they were rubbery/vinyl clutches, my first, favorite and probably most popular one was black with little round "bubbles" protuding from the entire surface of the bag, like a texture. I guess i remember them as being around 12 inches long and maybe 6 inches high and they were pretty flat.  They then started coming in all different colors, and then started coming with different textured geometric patterns (triangles, stripes, etc_.  Idon;t know if i'm describing this very well, but i'd love to know their real name, and i'd love evn more to see a pictre of one!!!!

I don't recall what you are talking about but do you recall these???

Purses and duffel bags (my purse was strapless, don't know if they were ever made with straps) that were made from a parachute-type material and were not real durable, kinda cheapie. They came in all kinds of colors and had some sort of picture on it. I can remember unicorns and rainbows being real popular.

I've searched for YEARS for a pic on the web. I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
