Subject: 80's cartoon help

I have been trying to figure out a specific cartoon name with no success. I believe the cartoon started off in a garage with real actors, and i believe they were in a band. Then they were transported to "the flip side" through a mirror. The flipside was a cartoon realm and the premise of the show was them trying to get back from "the flip side". Can anyone help or was this all just some really weird dream i had?

The only thing I can thing of is the video for A-ha's "Take On Me"... that's what your description sounds like...

YES!!! Kidd video is it... I had heard the name but it hadnt wrong any bells, but i just looked at a discription and it fit perfectly.... thanks
