Subject: help me please!! whats this cartoon called?!
hi. i really need your help everyone/anyone. ??? ???
there's a children's tv show that i really need to remember the name of...
all we can remember is a bear who was really stupid we are convinced he had two bees buzzing round his head. he and a bunch of other animals lived in a forest, there was then this guy, old, bold maybe with a big nose who lived in a huge house on top of hill
we think the story was that this guy had a secret and he didn't want the creatures to find it out so he hid it. also he may have, or someone may have, cut down all the forests and these animals were living in the last bit of forest...
the only other thing we remember is that the theme title began with an image of the globe before zooming in on this forest.
we are also sure that the name of the programme was one word, maybe something like the foresters and it was written in a similar font to that of The Wuzzles except maybe in gold... or are we getting confused with the Racoons there
if anyone can help me at all, i'd really appreciate a reply asap

not necessarily the name of the show: maybe some sites where i might be able to find it myself.
also, the show may have been a 90s one. i remember watching it when i was about 6/7 which would make it about 91/92. but i don't know if these were repeats or an orginial story...
please, help wopuld be much appreciated..

This is just a shot in the dark, but I remember a cartoon called "Rupert the Bear" in probably '85-'86? It may have been British, and I think there was/is a book series about him. Maybe you are thinking of Rupert.

The Bugaloos sounds closest to me. It was part of the Sid and Marty Krofft series if shows (Land of the Lost, HR Pufnstuff). There's tons of Krofft stuff out there or you can look on imdb.com. Anyway the Bugaloos lived in a magical forest and had bug wings and sang asongs and this evil lady (Witchypoo or Benita Bizarre or something) tried to stop them a la Gargamel.
If it's right thank my husband. He is the kind of obscure trivia. I woke him from a sound sleep to read the post and he immediately said the Bugaloos and started singing the theme song.

Well, The Raccoons was a Canadian cartoon which wasn't shown in the US (and I grew up next to Canada) so I'd suggest looking around some Canadian tv show boards?
