Okay, because I feel compelled because of my deep obsession with this movie, I have to ask what y'all think.  My friends give me mixed opinions, but, for real, am I the only one that really loves this movie???

I've never seen this movie.

I do know it featured one of the greatest cheesy songs of the 80's as its theme, though.

You are definitely not the only one who loves The Legend of Billie Jean! This is one of my fave movies. It just virtually screams out The 80s! I remember after the movie came out, girls started to get their hair cut short like Billie Jean and they would wear one dangly earring and the arm band! Whenever I see that this movie is playing, I always have to stop and watch! :)

FAIR IS FAIR!!!

you would not believe how many times i've seen this flick...
in retrospect the names:  potter jacks, ophelia, bincks, hubie...i guess they do fit in the context...what a great great 80's movie...when the music dies down and she confronts mr. pyatt and rips up the poster of herself...what a grear scene,,and then the b.j./joan of arc statue falls...what symbolism......don't even get me started on Some Kind of Wonderful....

This movie is da shitnitz!!!!  I still have it in my movie archives. As far as Helen Slater not acting anymore... Well this is why we have the 80's web to reminisce on all the performers be it actors/actresses, or groups that made a great impact in the 80's, but are not around anymore. At least not in the public. Who knows, she may be working behind the scenes.
