Subject: Who remade Temptations "My Girl"?
Someone did a remake of "My Girl" in the late 80's that was similar to what Club Neauvou did to "Lean on Me". It wasn't really that good but I always kind of liked it. It has bugged me now for about 10 years and I still make efforts to find out who it was. I taped about half of it on a cassette when I was 15 and I still have that stupid cassette to remind me. Someone, please help me stop this insanity!

You're thinking of the cover of "My Girl" by Suave', a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Spring of '88. It was off his 1988 album, I'm Your Playmate. Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, although it did come out on CD here in the U.S...

I like that "My Girl" Cover. Wasn't the song "My Girl" used in some movie in the 80's? I can't even remember what the movie was called I do remember the movie was about some manakin in a store who made herself into a real person. It was a corny movie looking back on it now but the movie was cheesey "80's like". I like cheesey 80's though.
