You know you are a true child of the 80s when...

You owned, or wanted a "Frankie says..." T-shirt and/or a "Members Only" Jacket.

Neon/flourescent Colors like hot pink, electric blue and banana yellow have ever featured in your wardrobe or make-up collection.

You remember when the A-Ha video was the pinnacle of modern technology, and you can still sing all the words.

Your best party dress was a ra-ra.

You ever owned a thin, black leather tie.

You remember the aerobic craze.

You have ever po-goed or space-hopped.

You tried to convince your Dad to fit a strip of red lights on the front of his Capri so it looked like KITT.

Not only did you wear luminous clothing, but were mismatched, with fingerless gloves and towelling socks.

You remember when Betamax and Walkman were at the cutting edge of technology.

(Girls) You owned a pair of Pixie Boots, generally worn with leg warmers.

(Boys) You owned a pair of pale grey slip-ons, generally worn with white towelling socks.

Shiny grey flecked suits and fedoras.

You rolled-up the sleeves of your suit jacket.

Your favorites cartoons were Kid Video, ThunderCats and Transformers.

You owned Chuck Taylor's 3-colored Converse Hi and/or Reebok Hi Tops. LA Gear may have also featured in your collection.

You still have Rubik's Cube traumas.

Big Hair, The Mullet and The Mohawk were sensible hair styles.

You remember make-up was not only stylish but a commonplace must for guys as well as gals.

Coca-Cola Wear, Weathered Blues, Ocean Pacific, Hang Ten and Lightning Bolt were some of the brand names in your wardrobe.

You remember the miracle of Odyssey, Coleco Vision, Atari.

Still there, it would seem, for me at least.

as far as...
"You ever owned a thin, black leather tie."...mine is still in the dresser.

"You remember when Betamax and Walkman were at the cutting edge of technology."... we have some of the best 80's movies on Betamax tapes.  It was a huge deal making the "big jump" to VHS.  I remember getting a Walkman, and I thought it was so cool to be able to walk around while listening to a cassette tape!

"Your favorites cartoons were Kid Video, ThunderCats and Transformers"...throw in GI Joe and Heathcliff too.

"You owned Chuck Taylor's 3-colored Converse Hi and/or Reebok Hi Tops."...mine were red and white.  Also, don't forget the British Knights(BK's)!

"Coca-Cola Wear, Weathered Blues, Ocean Pacific, Hang Ten and Lightning Bolt were some of the brand names in your wardrobe"...I had a blue bathing suit with a big "OP" on the back(1987).

"You remember the miracle of Odyssey, Coleco Vision, Atari"...ohhh don't even get me started on the wonders of Atari!

In addition to Atari, don't forget the Radio Shack Tandy Color Computer!

Oh, were have the 80's gone?!?!?!?!
