Subject: Anybody Know this Sci-Fi-ish Movie?

Written By: Angela on 10/21/02 at 10:59 p.m.

Growing up I remember watching this movie on the USA Network.I thought it was like a couple short movies and the final one was about this family that was trapped in this house and there was this goo seeping into the house. In the end you found out that this family was in a dollhouse on a spaceship with aliens. I thought it was like a Ray Bradbury,Twilight Zone , Amazing Stories  thing but I can never find this particular plot line. It's not the best movie in the world but as a little kiddie I loved it.I apologize in advance for being lame.

The plot sounds familiar but I can't quite place it, sorry.  Maybe Creepshow or Tales From The Darkside?   What were the other short stories about?

Tarzan Boy, that is my all-time favorite T.Z. episode!

I love it when they get on the train and just keep going around the "town" when it is just the giant kid's train set.

I think that episode of the Twilight Zone is called Stopover in a Quiet Town and I looked at a picture gallery from that episode and it's not the movie I'm thinking of but thanks anyways. It's possible I imagined this movie .Who knows.

I'm vaguely remembering either at the beginning or the end of this there was a picture of the earth turning and somebody's voice was speaking "words of wisdom" I don't think it was an amazing stories episode because didn't they have some sort of book thingy going on? ???

Was it some episodes of "V"?

I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think its V either.  Erin, I just saw V on cable a few weeks ago, I loved that movie and show!  Remember that guy Marc Singer, who played the lead character in it. I remember growing up thinking he was a big star and then never saw him in anything again until the late 80s when he was in some terrible B movie, that was it though.  Oh yeah, Joanna Kerns was in it too!

Errr. I remember the movie. The family kept trying to escpae but couldn't get out and, if I remember, the gue was where the alian/giant kid had put the dolls house on a radiator, or something like it. I think it was from a movie "tales of the crypt" or such like, made by hammer films in the 70's...
You've got me thinking now!
