Subject: 80s Italo Disco

Written By: GenesiNJ on 10/24/02 at 06:13 a.m.

Hi guys,

some people, mostly Americans, don't know about the...
80s Italo Disco!
probably because many "1 hit wonders" never crossed the Atlantic ocean. Names like:

Eddy Huntington with "USSR"
P.Lion with "Happy children"
Den Harrow with "Catch the fox"
Gazebo with "I like Chopin"
and so many more....

Well, here's a chance for those who never heard those names listed above to get to know some of these bands/singers.
Visit this web site, you will find it interesting, and it's also well done.

I hope you enjoy it. Have a nice day  ;D

Thanks for the link, GenesiNJ.

A radio station in the area where I grew up had a mixshow in the mid-80's where the DJs would occasionally throw in some ItaloDisco.   Here are some of the artists I still enjoy:

Fun Fun (Happy Station, Colour My Love, Baila Bolero)
Mike Mareen (Love Spy)
Michael Prince (Dance Your Love Away)
Ken Laszlo (Tonight)
My Mine (Hypnotic Tango)
Laserdance (Humanoid Invasion)
