Subject: I HAVE A QUESTION!

Written By: JETTA00 on 11/01/02 at 11:41 p.m.

??? Do any of you guys talk about the 80's when your friends (who are not particularly as fond of the decade as you are)are around? Do they want to absolutely kill you and tell you to for once not mention the 80's? My friends do it all the time. It's so funny when they do that. I just tell them they're missing out on all this GOOD stuff!  ??? :) ;) :D ;D

there's nothing wrong with the 80s.  it's the only redeeming quality this world has.  thank goodness for big hair and Huey Lewis and the Bangles.

Preach on my brother...

'Tis the decade that brought you the A-Team, Hall and Oates, MacGyver, Ah-nuld and the great (but sometimes misunderstood) Ronald Reagan.  Can't beat a good thing.  Some dang good sports memories too.

Sports were just as magical as everything else in the 80's.  You had Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan.  There was always that Lakers-Celtics rivarly, or Lakers-Pistons in the late 80's.  In football you had Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and the 49ers.  It was all so cool.

Remember when Jordan dropped 63 points on the Celtics back in 1986?

I really miss the 80's.   :(

Oh and for the topic---no one I know gets sick of talking about the 80's.  I'm 24 and people around my age were children back then and we love to reminisce about our childhood, and everything about the 1980's.  The cartoons, the TV shows, the movies, the sports, and ofcourse the music.  It was a magical decade.

I wax nostalgic about the 80s with friends and family members all the time. I've had many great conversations over the past few years. It seems that as time passes, people want to cling on to their precious memories of the 80s!  :)

Some of my friends loathe the 80's.They feel I'm living in a time warp or like you're living in the past somehow but you know something? Who gives a crap what they think.I love my time warp and have no plans of getting out. ;D -howard-
