Subject: Wouldn't this be cool...
Wouldn't it be cool if somehow, someway everybody on this board could get together for a huge 80's party? It would require a location, like a reception hall or similar, and thats no big deal to acquire. I just think it would be cool to meet everyone that I have grown to know on here.
I know its not going to happen, but wouldn't it be fun?

Not everyone on this board lives in NY and people would have to travel a long way to get to New York itself.

Just a long shot but you can come to central Canada where the beer is stronger the US dollar buys like way many Canadian dollars.You can all put on your touques and flannel shirts and LIKE TAKE OFF TO THE GREAT WHITE NORTH.Where you can call your buddy a HOSER and they don't mind.So like good day eh. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Chicago would be easy for me, too, even though it is literally halfway across the country for me.
I have a friend who lives there, and she would let me crash on her couch for free! ;D ;D ;D ;D
The only thing from stopping all of us from doing just such a thing is $$Money$$. Airfare, hotel accomodations, babysitters (for some of us), and taking time off from work are the real obstacles.
I know of several members, myself included, who have vowed to pay everyone's costs as soon as I/we hit the lottery. ;D ;D ;D

I lived in Chi-town for a couple years, I know I am new around here but I would love something like that, I still have good friends there that would let me crash at their place, just plan it to take place in like a few months. I'm going through a divorce now so.. well y'know how crazy everything gets (just wanted to say it out loud, very few people know :-/ ) . But I'd go!! (by the way I live in Costa Rica!! waay down south from y'all) Be good!!

You can put a twist on this gathering of yours...like a beach party, a ski outing, a fishing trip...the possibilities are endless, and where there's a will, there's a way...and now I am done spewing cliches.

Yeah, we use velociraptors instead of german sheperds and the t.rexes are all under control. (in costa rica...) Beats the heck out of dodging deer on the highways, that much I know!! ;D
