Subject: What was this doll's name

Written By: Rosalie on 11/08/02 at 07:56 p.m.

As a little girl,I remember having a doll that wore a huge oversized skirt.  The doll would sit on top of a circular type thing, while the skirt covered it.  Under her skirt, was the doll's little apartment.  There was a bedroom, livingroom, and another room.  I think the apartment rotated.  The doll came with regular sized clothes for when she was not sitting on top of the house.  If you have no idea of what i am talking about, then this probably sounds like i am on crack.  Really, I am serious.  i would love to get her name.

thanks.

You are not on crack.  I remember it, too.  Is it called Polly Pocket?

Thanks for writing back Dagwood.  But the doll I am thinking of is not the Polly Pocket.  She was bigger than Polly Pocket and I remember she had long blond hair (go figure??).

Hi Jelina:  I am so glad that someone knows what I am talking about.  Please let me know what you find out.  I've been meaning to ask my mother, maybe she will remember.  I will keep you posted.

Moppet's Secret Dollhouse.  My sister had one too.  Then they came out with Moppets secret nursery too.  I saw one on ebay once, a long time ago.  I would love to see this toy again.  We loved it as kids. :

I know what you mean.  I have been trying to find a pic of this toy for a long time.  I saw it that one time on Ebay - I wished I would of saved the picture.  I remember there was a kitchen too, and she had a little pizza.  We loved this toy!

Lil- i remember the accessories that went w/ the doll.  There was a bright orange telephone and an alarm clock.  I actually still have those pieces.  I must have kept them when i upgraded to a wooden dollhouse.  It still irks me b/c  i can actually see my mother putting the doll away as if she were saving it..  But i think it's loooooonnng gone.
