LOL! Now this IS one thing that i have still retained from my youth...the original first vinyl pressing of "Music from the kids from FAME"...a gatefold LP with hits like "Fame", "Hi Fidelity" etc.
God knows why THAT is one of the very few 80s things i still have - God knows it wasnt the most adored 80s possession of mine! ;)

My 8-yr-old daughter is at a stage school, one of the things she's learning at the moment is a dance routine for the song "Fame", which she's totally overboard about. So we got the video out, forgetting that it's peppered throughout with the f-word, adult themes generally... She took it pretty well, all things considered.

Don't recall seeing the movie but love the song. I also used to watch the show. I always kept saying that one day I would see the movie. To this day, I still haven't.
