Does anyone remember the song Life in a Northern town by Dream Academy I know it was on a movie but nobody seems to have any record of it. Help its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!

I don't know what movie it was in, but some cruise line was using it for a while

No it was deffinately in a movie i keep getting flashbacks of the brat pack but I still can't place it.

i love this song and now this is driving ME crazy.
i know that a lot of John Hughes films had music in them that are not on the soundtracks, concidering the era of the song, i am guessing a John Hughes film.
i know that Ferris Bueller's Day Off featured a couple of Dream Academy songs, but not Life in a Northern Town.
speaking of John Hughes films, here is a link to The Breakfast Club script....this may distract you from Life in a Northern Town. ha ha ha
