Subject: Favorite songs with "that" 80's rythm??

Written By: Manhattan83 on 11/21/02 at 08:27 p.m.

There are some 80's songs that sound to me like extra-80's, because they have that typical sound.... songs like:

  Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F

  Prince - 1999

  Wham - Everything she wants

  Imagination - Illusion

  Olivia Newton John - Physical

  Herbie Hancock - Rockit

  Paul Hardcastle - 19

  Hall And Oates - Maneater

 .....and some more.....

Change - Tears For Fears

Too Shy - Kajagoogoo

Let's Go All The Way - Sly Fox

You Might Think - The Cars

Cars - Gary Numan

Our House - Madness

Safety Dance - Men Without Hats

"(Keep Feeling) Fascination" - Human League
"People Are People" - Depeche Mode
"Hungry Like The Wolf" - Duran Duran
"It's My Life" - Talk Talk
"Rock The Casbah" - The Clash
"She Blinded Me With Science" - Thomas Dolby
"Planet Rock" - Afrika Bambaataa & Soul Sonic Force

And pretty much anything SAW (Stock, Aitken & Waterman) produced/mixed in the 80's - they had like 3 main drum patterns or something (e.g., a la Dead or Alive/Bananarama, Mel & Kim and Rick Astley)...
