Subject: help me name this tune..

I don't know what the lyrics are to this song, and am not even sure that it was written in the 80's (though it has a very 80's touch to it), and it's pretty popular since I've heard it multiple times.
I can, however, reproduce the chorus from my memory... Can anyone help with this rather sparse information?

In the key of C, and with most of the notes going to the one in the octave closest to it.. I've specified the where on the treble staff some of these notes go to give you a hand.

Female vocals, and it's a fairly upbeat song.
