Subject: Favorite AC/DC Lead Singer?

I believe this thread was destroyed in the Crash of 2002....so I decided to bring it back for another go round. While I enjoy the band with Brian Johnson, I always enjoyed Bon Scott and all the early stuff much better http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons/35.gif

Definatley Bon Scott, he had a great voice.

Bon Scott, without a doubt !
Brian Johnston is fine, but he had an impossible act to follow. Not only did Bon Scott have a very distinctive voice, but he was well liked.
Under the circs, Johnston has done very well...

I always liked Bon Scott better. Brian Johnson is OK, but he's no Bon Scott. I miss Bon Scott. :'(

Bon was a better songwriter too. It's interesting to note that in his biography, it was suggested that the band was going to fire him because they felt American audiences had trouble understanding his singing, and yet after he died, they replaced him with someone whose annunciation was arguably worse! Brian's voice is unique though. You can't really mistake it for anyone else.

Brian for me. Of course, that may be due to the fact that the first AC/DC album I ever listened to was with Brain singing, so that's what made the first impression on me. I like Bon Scott, but I prefer the vocals of Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson. Mainly because I first noticed AC/DC when he was singing. I love both of them, though. :)

Despite scaring me with his apperarance in schoolgirl uniform and pigtail-wig on Countdown :o , I'll go with Bon Scott.

Oh, but they did! It was on the Australian version of 'High Voltage' and it's awful.
