I was just wondering if any of you are or were fans of The Cure? I loved them, especially their soppy love songs such as Just Like Heaven. What are your favourite Cure songs?

My favourite would be a tie between 'Inbetween Days' and 'Friday I'm In Love' - I guess two of their more 'up-beat' numbers. :)

Pictures of You- one of my favorite songs
My girlfriend in high school loved this group and I starting listening to them a lot around that time. Disintegration is the album I've heard the most.
Did anyone ever hear them cover Purple Haze? I remember hearing it on the radio back in like '93 or '94.

I LOVE The Cure! They rank up there in my top 3 bands of all time! I always keep one of their CDs in my car. I think "High" is my favorite of theirs, followed by "Fascination Street".

Yes, Robert Smith ROCKS! That hair was too cool!!!! Did you ever catch the South Park show with him on it? So funny.
Yes, they definitely can put me in a goth mood, but their songs were also strangely romantic and uplifting.

I saw that South Park episode - it was so cool that they didn't take the piss outta Robert as they ALWAYS do with every other 'celeb' they write into the show.
At the end of the show one of the boys says 'Disintegration is the coolest album EVER' as the animated Mr Smith walks off into the sunset. ;D ;D ;D

The Cure has always been my favorite band I like all their cds and all their songs it is so hard to pick one fav song ::) because I love them all but I do listen to bird mad girl a lot and the top I was feeling moody the other day and listened to bare and the last day of summer over and over again!
