Ive been listening to a station here in Memphis that I normally would not be caught dead listening too because from Thanksgiving until the day after Christmas they play ONLY Christmas music and I absolutely love Christmas. Well they've been playing this one song lately that goes "last christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away, this year to save me from tears Ill give it to someone special" anyways. I didnt know until this morning that it was Wham. Its an alright song. you can tell its old though.

i love the song last christmas by wham. Today on the radio i heard another version of it, i don't know who was singing it but its sounded like one of the boy bands that are around now, its the first time i heard it today and was no where near as good as whams version

The new version is by Savage Garden and I agree that the original is much better!

The song is indeed "Last Christmas" by Wham! The song is on their 1986 album "Music from the Edge of Heaven".

I was over at a friend's place for Christmas and all the kids were eating at the table - one started singing "Last Christmas, I Gave You My Heart..." - all th young ones had no idead what he was babbling about ::)

It's called Last Christmas. It was covered by Savage Garden and... some other band.
