When this was done in the 80s it really made you want to see the movie!I loved how they would throw in clips from the movie as the video was playing.My favorite are "Shakedown" by Bob Seger from Beverly Hills Cop 2."Maniac" by Michael Sembella from Flashdance."Sweet Freedom" by Michael McDonald from Running Scared. ;)

"Get into the Groove" probably is the best, although I always liked "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis from Back to the Future.

I know it's from a TV show, but I always enjoyed the video for Jan Hammer's Miami Vice Theme.

I loved the way they tried to "incorporate" him in the action.

Axel F by Harold Faltermeyer from Beverly Hills Cop.  Its probably one of the coolest synth songs from the 80s IMO.  They superimposed Harold running through BHC scenes wearing a trenchcoat and a fedora.

Sammy Hagar - Winner Takes It All, from Over The Top.

Although I probably haven't seen this video in almost 15 years, it's one of my most favorite soundtrack songs & videos. If anyone has a vcd (or better) file of this please let me know. The only copy of it I've been able to find was a digimon anime version (sucks).

Madonna-Live to Tell from At Close Range.  The song just fit the mood of the movie so perfectly.
