it may sound weird, but i remeber in the 80s having an "intelevision" it was a big brown and silver unit thing that has to remote controls attached to it. You had diskette games thingys to put in it- baseball and some battletank game and tennis.
And then there were little plastic sheets that went over the remote controls so you knew which buttons to press..
Okay so it's damn hard to explain.. but it's a fond memory from the 80s that I have!!!
Does anyone else have a CLUE what I'm talking about?????

I do.  Intelevision was pretty cool, a friend of mine that lived down the street had it.  It was one step up from the Atari.  Although, after awhile we both wanted the king of all video game systems, Colecovison.

We had the Colecovision, I remember the Intellivision too, didn't have it but it got a lot of press.  The commercails featured George Plimpton, a well know journalist/intellectual.

That pic is so funny.  I'm glad we gave up on wood texture design on innovative technology.  Could you imagine your PC as a "woody" ;D

Never had one, but knew someone who did.  They also had the big satellite dish and descrambler.  One of my friends had an Atari.  We got a ColecoVision for free, with the steering wheel and I think 33 games.  Wish I still had it, my freaking mom gave it away along with all my full Sweet Pickles collection and alot of nice stuff.

I tell ya.graphics changed over the past 25 years.everything was slow and hard to play though today, everything seems kinda fast for today's technological world of games.
