Subject: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe...

Written By: John_Seminal on 01/23/03 at 00:18 a.m.

I watched this cartoon as a kid. It was on T.V. after school. I was shocked to see an editorial on VH1, where all sorts of celeberties talked about the show, saying He-Man was gay, and how he helped them develop their sexuality. I do not believe it. Here are their reasons they gave that he is gay:

1) Skelator was always chasing him, like a skeleton in a closet.
2) The only way to defeat Skelator was with his sword.
3) He was powerless without his Sword.
4) Only three people knew his secret.
5) They showed a clip of him running like a fairy.

I still think he is straight. What do you think? Was He-Man gay?

Pure rubbish.  ::)

These people have too much time on their hands, too much imagination for their own good and a medium that gives them the time of day for this kind of nonsense.

I have no respect for most celebrities or anything they have to say, nor for the networks which facilitate stupidity.

I would catch He-Man and never thought he was gay back then.  Haven't seen it in quite awhile but if I did veiw it today I would probably be thinking along the lines of SNL's cartoon The Ambiguously Gay Duo.  That was FUNNY. ;D

First the Teletubby is gay, now He-Man's gay?

He-Man is straight.

What's next?:

Casper is a white supremicist (There aren't any black ghosts!)

The Ninja Turtles theme played backwards contains messages like "I killed Leonardo," "I ran over Donatello with my car," and "The Shredder is Dead" (Pure rubbish)

The Flintstones used to be adult cartoon stars by Ralph Bakshi

Those are ridiculous! Enough false accusations!

They were just poking fun, I don't think they were serious.  It's their job to make jokes while discussing the pop culture of the 80's.

He-Man wasn't gay.
