Subject: just an idea...

Ok, we all know or most of us agree mtv is nothing like it used to be at all like in the 80's. When they actually played videos and that was it. Now they have mtv2 which really isn't the same either. What I wish is that they would make an MTV 80's. Where they play all 80's videos all the time. I know radio stations are popping up with only 80's music. It wouldn't even have to be mtv...I think it would just be so awesome if there was a music station  on t.v. that played all 80's videos!!! ::)

VH1 Classic is really cool, if you can get it.  I have Direct TV and you have to pay extra for it.  I was tempted to get it after we had a free week of it when it first launched, but I didn't.

yes, VH-1 Classic is like manna from the gods at Mtv.. it's a seperate channel, very little advertising (mostly for the other VH-1 and Mtv channels), and contains tons of videos.. sometimes pretaped concerts from years gone past, or theme weekends. It's available to digital cable and satelitte subscribers. It's quite literally, the only reason I have the digitial tiers from my cable system..

It's funny the only time I watch MTV now is, wait nevermind,  I don't.

I think a lot of us were spoiled by growing up watching MTV in the 80s, I couldn't imagaine being younger now and having to watch that load of garbage now.  VH1 Behind The Music is the only show I watch on that station.

I too would love to have VH1 classic.  The one time I did see it, they were playing Boston's "More Than A Feeling", cool don't ya think?...

I ONLY watch VH1 Classic for videos.  And I ONLY watch MTV for Real World & Road Rules (ssshhh but don't tell anyone it's kind of a closet obsession!)   ;)

Secret, secret, I've gotta secret :)

Although, I don't watch MTV anymore, I did watch both those shows in the first couple years that they were on and they weren't so bad.  I think the concept just became old and lost it's edge.

Road Rules was better just because they were visiting cool places throughout the world...
