Subject: Two overlooked 80's classics

Written By: Steve Austin on 02/14/03 at 10:03 a.m.

I have noticed two classic 80's movies often overlooked in most postings:
The Last American Virgin -- your classic teen flick
Beat Street -- your classic break dance bonanza
Anyone feel the same?

Actualy Last American Virgin has been mentioned a couple of times, but YES! it is a great 80's movie.  I recently found the soundtrack and it brings back so many memories.  That "Oh-No" song by Commodores kills me everytime!

Beat Street was also a classic.  Along with Breakin'.  It's great to see break dancing making a comback.  :D

both movies were way cool, and still are in my book. i have a movie that i still find to this day that no one remembers at all.
see if you do...

this movie was one of those ever popular 80's california, low budget type movies. it was called "Surf 2". the funny thing about this movie is there was never a "Surf 1". typical spend all day at the beach, have a party all nite, 80's high school type movies. it was such a funny movie. i don't remember who starred in it but there was this stoner character whose name was "mow-mow".

someone please say they remember this rare mentioned 80's classic.

That would be an overlooked 80s flick. The only reason I can recall it is because it had a very young Eric Stoltz in it.
