Subject: Pee Wee's Playhouse Poll

Written By: Sparki on 02/21/03 at 02:23 a.m.

OK, I'm taking a poll.
Which Pee-Wee's playhouse NEIGHBOR LADY did you prefer, Mrs. Steve or Mrs. Rene?

My answer? Both

And which Pee-Wee's Playhouse ATHLETE did you think was more handsome, Tito the Lifeguard or Ricardo the Soccer Player

I have to go with Tito all the way!!!

OK, what's YOUR opinion?

I thought Miss Yvonne was cool too, although,of course, in my opinion, she wasn't nearly as cute as the tantalizing and titillating Tito! ;) Still, gotta love her sassy remarks and her prom gowns

I agree!  When I look back on that show now, most of the jokes were very adult oriented.

I was trying to remember all of the other characters from Pee-Wee's Playhouse... Let's see, there was also Reba the Mail Carrier, Cowboy Curtis (played by Lawrence Fishburn) and remember the King of Cartoons? And which role did Jimmy Smits (LA Law) play?

Thanks for the info, Hairspray! :) For some reason, I thought he was a regular character on the show!

I didn't know that Natasha Lyonne was in the cast!

My favorite episode was the one where the camera went up his nose and they did a cartoon of the family of boogers living in his nose.  Seriously!  I used to watch that show religiously on Saturday mornings.

Whether you loved it or hated it, "Pee Wee's Playhouse" is a TV classic.  And always will be as far as I'm concerned. :)

I would have to say that I enjoyed Penny Cartoon. The cartoon
where this girl had pennies for her eyes and she talked about different things.

I also enjoyed those Penny cartoons! And I loved the old cartoon classics that the King of Cartoons would bring! And did everybody scream when someone said the "secret" word of the day? ;)
