Subject: name of 80's made for TV movie?
Does anyone know a early 80's made for TV movie(ABC) that had the plot of the SUN getting so hot or some kind of meteor that turned people to dust and got dogs violent.It was eith the sun getting too hot or something came to earth that turned people to dust and only way you didn't turn to dust is if you were in windowless room,in shower in bed,etc.

The plot sounds vaguely like the science-fiction story by Larry Niven called "Inconstant Moon" (a huge solar flare takes out all life on the day-side of the earth, and those on the night-side slowly approach a similar fate as daybreak approaches).
I think this story was made into an episode of "Outer Limits" or "Twilight Zone", and possibly more. Search Google to see if this is the one you remember.

That is the movie that I first thought of also...you beat me. ;) I had seen that numerous times back in the 80's. Classic movie!!! A little cheesy but entertaining.
