So these were the popular songs when I was 3 years old  ;D  How nice. Good songs, too.

Aw, come on. Even if you can't stand Air Supply, you can't go wrong with a Jim Steinman song (#10, of course)! Not even Air Supply could screw up a Steinman tune. I love Jim Steinman's stuff. Everything he writes sounds like a Wagner opera with electric guitars. :)

Wow! top songs when I was a three year old :) :) I recently heard Men at work's song "Down under" and it sure was a catchy song. 8) 8) 8)

I like most of them. It was a good time in music history.

I didn't care very much for the Stray Cats, though.

Now...

I give top notches to Air Supply for having so many awesome ballads and quality songs. They were just right, IMO.

"Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" was their absolute best, IMO, and it's so reminiscent of that period in time.

Other excellent ones are:

"Sweet Dreams"
"Even The Nights Are Better"
"Lonely Is The Night"

Heck, ALL of them!  :D :)

I was 8.  After all these years, that is still one of my favorite songs.  I don't even care that P.M. Dawn sampled it, I love "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" too.

Billy Joel "Tell Her About It"
Michael Jackson "Beat It"

Another few songs that came out 1983.
