Subject: Help, what program is this??

When i was younger i used to watch this TV program all the time. It was either in the late 80's or 90's and i cant remember what it was called..and its driving me mad.
Basically what i can remember is that there was this girl that was escaping from something, and she got into some kind of crystal or capsule. Then she came and crash landed on Earth and there was fire around her because of the impact. I don't know whether she was from the future or from another world. I also remember that she had a special gadget maybe a watch and had a little robot thing which used to go round with her, and i think it got killed in one episode. She had a couple of friends that she met which she hung around with from Earth too. I don't know if it was English, American or Austrailian..but i'd really like to know what this program is so if anyone can please help.

Wasn't it an austrailian program??..she was one the run from where she came from..but sorry i cant remember its name..now you got me thinking now!..sorry i couldnt be more help

I remember that too but the name escapes ME too! Darn!! Does anyone remember the following shows: "Danger Mouse", "Bananaman", "You can't do that on television"???? Around 86-88 on Nickelodeon (it was still rather new but it did ok) "You Can't Do That on Television" would be on for a half hour..a Canadian show which I liked. Then another half hour British show "Danger Mouse", about a mouse which was a detective, which had the thickest, heaviest Welsh accents..so much that I couldn't understand sometimes..Then a 15 minute show, I think maybe Jamaican called "Bananaman"..another "hero" show..I only remember the beginning.."ERIC ISS BANANA-MAN!".
