Subject: 80's Party

Written By: cbailey on 04/10/03 at 11:41 a.m.

I need help!  I am planning my husband's 30th (surprise) birthday party, and I'm doing an 80's theme.  The only problem is I'm having trouble with deciding what to make the cake.  The best idea I've had so far is to do a pac-man, with cupcakes for the 'dots', and maybe even including Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.  But I'm looking for other ideas.  Anyone have a good one out there?

Thanks,
cbailey

nothing is more 80s than pac-man. you should do it.  i did a pac-man pumpkin one year for halloween.  not very scary, but it looked cool.

I think your idea of a Pac Man cake is awesome!  Of course 80's music & some cool 80's clothes would be cool.  And you could even rent a bunch of 80's movies (like Brat Pack) and have them on your TV in the background.  Maybe you could even find some 80's toys that maybe your hubby played with and wrap them up as a present!  :D  Or give them away as party gifts or something!  Good luck & have a blast!

You could dress up as Ms.Pac Man and convince your hubbie to dress as Mr.Pac Man.   ;)
