Subject: Head Of The Class

Anyone a fan of the show Head Of The Class? It's been fun seeing it again on Nick At Nite. Until a few months ago I hadn't seen it in over 10 years. It kinda brings back nice memories of the late 80s for me.

YES! Head of the Class was the BOMB! That show was probably in the top five of my all time favorite shows. What's funny is that they always seemed to have academic competitions with a school called Bronx Science. At the time when the show was on (late 80s to about 1991), I had no clue that that was actually a real high school, and thought it was a weird name. Turned out...after we moved to New Yorrk City (where the show took place) a couple of years after that show ended, that's the high school that I ended up attending!

I think the show clearly "jumped the shark" when Billy Connolly played the teacher's role in '90 (I think).

I think the USSR special in '88 was probably the most memorable, although I didn't fully (maybe by the time partially) understand what that meant in the grand scheme of things.
