Cocteau Twins, Throwing Muses, Pixies, Bauhaus, The Birthday Party, Dead Can Dance, etc... Is anyone else into all the 4ad bands?  :)

Clan Of Xymox is, by far, the best to come out of that label, imho. Definitely into the rest of those bands as well 8) It's so rare to find another Dead Can Dance listener nowadays...

Count me in.  Dead Can Dance is definately easy on the ears.  I'm also pleased with Lisa Gerrard's other works; soundtracks, et al.

I love all these bands!  Back in the 80's I had a sweet jean jacket with the 4ad logo on the back of it!  Man I wish still had that!   :D

Aw, I want that jacket! I've never heard a 4ad album that I didn't fall in love with.

(What prompted this topic: I'm seeing the Throwing Muses tomorrow. :) Ssoooo excited!)

Babysinister, I envy you. The first 4ad related songs I heard were "Tony's Theme" by The Pixies and "Run Letter" by Throwing Muses. I'm proud to say I have both, even though The Pixies album is still on cassette. Let me know how the show went.

It was amazing. Really intense. Kristin looked kind of hypnotized as she delivered the most incredible vocal performance, and the setlist was fantastic. It was the best night I've had in a long time. You know how at concerts you sometimes feel like the music is making your heart beat? That's what it was like the entire night.
