Subject: Favorite Movie Themes

Ok Ok I know that there is the soundtrack thread that is out there but this has to do with the OPENING song to a movie. For instance, when I saw National Lampoon's European vacation on the first night, they played the Lindsey Bunkingham's song "Holiday Road". EVERYONE in the audience was singing it. :o I swore I was in Rocky Horror picture show with everything that was going on, I thought for sure that NL Vacation movies would be a cult hit, too bad the European was lame and Christmas was a bit better but not by much. ::)

My second place is "I'm allright" by Kenny Loggins for Caddyshack  ;D

What was your favorite theme song?

The Go Go's "We Got The Beat" on "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".

I think it fits with the beginning of the movie.

No doubt of it. The best opening theme to a movie of the 80s was "Sisters of Mercy - Cry Little Sister" in the movie "Lost Boys".
