Subject: need help: artist/song IDs (fairly obscure)

Written By: lelandgray on 05/14/03 at 00:26 a.m.

1st song:
came out around the same time as Tarzan's Boy by Baltimora and has a similar style/tempo; male singer. the only thing i remember from it is it had the word Candlelight in the title. chorus goes something like Breaking up the candlelight or breaking off the candlelight.

2nd song:
around the same time period again, male singer again; vocals sound similar to Dreaming by OMD. title is 90628 or 19628. chorus is : ninety 6 2 8, tell me what to say.......

3rd song:
this song came out maybe a year before Baltimora. female singer, i dont recall the video too much anymore but she looked like an asian Sade. the song is Too Young....or maybe (too young); chorus starts off with : Too young, cant you see....

4th song:
this one doesnt have a synthy/dance beat to it unlike the 3 above. male singer, chorus is backed by a choir (ala Wanna know what love is by Foreigner). i remember the chorus as:
Say you're living in a world turned upside down,
no...you're just.....
hanging around....
waiting for someone to rescue you.....
the video for it just shows a lot of death and destruction (historical clips from past wars)

i'm trying to hunt these songs down cuz i wanted to make a compilation of sorts. it might make 2 different discs since some of these songs are more "happy" in a way.
heres my track selection so far (as far as what i already have):
Upside Down - Two Minds Crack
More to Lose - Seona Dancing
Heaven - Eurogliders
Feels like Heaven - Fiction Factory
Burning Flame - Vitamin Z
Wouldn't it be good - Nik Kershaw
Duel - Propaganda
State of the Nation - Industry
Forever Young - Alphaville
Inside to Outside - Limahl
Mixed up World - timex Social Club

All I can find on the web is a reference to a song from '84 called 'Living In A World (Turned Upside Down)' by a group called Private Lives.

And there was apparently a song called 'My Mine' whose chorus started out with "Breaking up the candlelight we dance all the night don't you think that they just might spin you round and round..."  The webpage (for which that bit of lyric appeared as a search result) won't open for me, so, that's all the lyric I know...

No clue on the other songs, sorry.  Good luck.
