Skip-it was one of my favorite toys. I had a hot pink one. Most of my other favorites have been listed but does anyone remember the name of the doll whose hair would grow when you'd move her arm? I had several of them but can't recall the name.

My younger brother and I were ADDICTED to a Mad Ball VHS tape that our mom got for us. Our obsession got to a point where we knew the script word for word. The tape used to have an ad for the "My Pet Monster" movie on it(remember that toy?)

"If I ever get my hands on that Bad Ball, Im gonna flatten him and fold him into a teeny tiny airplane and send him flying!-hopefully into a brick wall."
                                       Freakella, Madballs

Anyway now that my insanity has been confirmed, I would just like to add that If anyone knows where I can get my hands on a copy of that tape, let me know

1. Barbie & the Rockers
(I have nearly everything, the instruments, puzzles, all the outfits from both editions, dress up set, the purse, the pool, plus several repeated dolls out of the box and 1st and 2nd series never removed from box. I spent about $3.000 on ebay dec. last year just to improve my collection. You see I'm mad)

2. Jem & the Holograms
(very modest collection, only 5 dolls mostly misfits, video tape, a boxed watch, cigarrete case, cigarrete lighter)

3. Strawberry Shortcake
(me and my sister collected so we still have all of them in the box, the little house, the babies, craddles, letter papers. They are all brazilian so it costs quite a lot today on ebay!)

4. Rubiks Cube

5.My Little Pony

i liked a lot to play with the boys toys such as GI Joe, Transformers, He-man but i never had my own. Also i borrowed a thin skate from a boy i liked, it was so fun!

there was a crazy sticky jelly thing that i loved to play too... and also an iron or plastic circles, looks like tons of armbands attached to gether, but you can throw them and they expand between your hands, i used to make it go downstairs, it was so fun! dunno the name in english though :(
there was also something like a freezbee disk with a ball attached that we could put our feet in between and jump everywhere. It was called pogoball in Brazil... not sure in usa.

Other stuff i loved to play everyday were my white rollerskates, those with 4 whells old fashioned? man i was good! i have now that new stuff with lined whells instead of parallels but i never managed to go skating outside... i'm afraid to fall hehe

Someody has to tell me what this toy is called. I found a picture of it in an old photo album and it's been driving me crazy ever since. It was a white helicopter about a foot long or so. It had skids coming of the sides of it with car launchers attached to them. That's all the detail I can give. Any info is appreciated.

I was just wondering if anyone remembers a doll that was sold in the early 80's......maybe 1980-1981. It was about 12 to 13 inches long and it wore yellow dropseat pajamas? I had this doll and cannot remember the name of it.

I also had a doll that was filled with jelly or something and she was heavy and drank and wet and I can't remember her name either because someone stole her from me not long after I got her  >:(
I also had this viewer thing that you stuck cartridges in and it played a cartoon by winding the crank (I had the mickey mouse ghost cartoon in it) can't remember the name of that one either but I think it was fisher price.
I also had "my real baby" from hasbro (the original by J. Turner)

Well, I was a teenager when the 1980's came about.  But if you include games as toys, I have one that is still played today,

Dungeons And Dragons!!!!!

This was HUGE in books, movies, news, and it spawned interest in movies like Conan, Krull, Mazes & Monsters, and many others.

Anyone remember Balzac?  I never had one, but they were constantly selling them on TV in the 80s/90s.

My favorite 80s toys were my Barbies, My Little Ponies, Lady Lovelylocks, and cooking/food toys.  I still have my Fisher Price apron and accompanying plastic cooking utensils.

Probably my least favorite toy that I owned in the 80s was my Spirograph.  I would get so frustrated because I could never get the circles to be perfect.  I'd always move the pen inadvertently and would mess up the design.  Grrr... :)
