Subject: Growing Pains

Written By: MotleyCrue85 on 06/06/03 at 05:53 p.m.

This is an FYI for everybody that doesnt know. Growing Pains is back on ABC Family --Monday-Friday at 1:00pm-2:00pm. It was on awhile back but they took it off. I think it might be back on for the summer or something. I think it started Monday of this week cause its right at the top of season 1 episodes, so set your VCR's or DVD recorders and record the episodes of this awesome sitcom while you can.

I've been watching "Growing Pains".  It's a great series.  Though the early seasons were clearly the best.  This show jumped the shark around 1989 or 1990 when Kirk Cameron's character started to grow up and become more adult like and responsbile.  Around that time they had to have the obligatory baby being born.  And the show just went down the drain when Leonardo DiCaprio came on to play that homeless boy Luke in a further attempt to bring more younger cute kids onboard.

Stick to the seasons from 1985 to spring 1989, they were the best and the kids acted like kids.  The second half of 1989 and the early 90's episodes were HORRIBLE.

I remember an episode when Mike and his friend were trying to spray paint Mike's room and Mike got a little paint on his face.
