who do you think was better also whats youre fave album by them and song

to me david lee roth was comady i mean i loved him but he is a show man but then again that was what made van halen apart from eddy van halen guitar skills god he was amazing
but on the other hand when sammy hagar became volcalist after david left the band sammy hagar took over and made them more serious (50/51 had more serious lyrcs than jump )
so it works on both lead singners to be honest it is hard to choose so iam going to leve it up to you to decide who was better whilst i go listen to those two albums

I think there both great in there own way. But as Lead Singer for Van Halen, I'm going with David Lee Roth. He has alot of charisma and style.

DLR, hands down. He put the fun in Van Halen. Loved Sammy in Montrose, but he brought a certain amount of "serious musicianship" (translates= corporate rock sound) to VH which I could not enjoy as much.

how about that lame-o singer from Extreme the Van Halen brothers brought on after they dumped sammy?
man, that pairing did not last!
they should just bring dave back for a few more albums
they made some great songs...but they are washed up now...hagar, roth, van halen brothers, etc.
and that extreme lead singer? is no where to be found!
