Subject: Songs that have the classic true 80s sound
1. Jump (Van Halen)---Those keyboards! The song brings back memories of the K-gr.8 school I went to. Our school would play this tune at gymnastic shows.
2. Some Like It Hot (Sound Machine)---Cool tune! I remember this song from Lampoon's European Vacation.
3. Hungry Like the Wolf (Duran Duran)---"Doo doo doo doo...."
4. I Ran, So Far Away (A Flock of Seagulls)---that eerie sounding electric guitar!
I know there are others, but my mind keeps going blank (don't you just hate that!)

i guess most 80s synth bands had that 80's sound, probably due Dx7 synthesizer sounds and typical drum machines. That's why i love 80s that much :)
