I'm not sure if this was from the late 80's or very early 90's, but some electronics corp. came out with this toy cam corder that recorded on standard audio tapes and was in B&W does anyone rememer these and what the name and company was?

I think you're talking about the TYCO Video Camera, But I think it came out around 96-97, though.

Actually i found what I was looking for it is called the PLX-2000 by fisher prices....."Fisher-Price PXL 2000 Camcorder. The PXL 2000 recorded image and sound on a standard audio cassette tape. Manufactured for a short time in the 1980s, it was marketed as a toy"
