Subject: "28 Days" Movie.

Written By: Secret_Squirrell on 06/26/03 at 03:12 a.m.

I just saw the commercial for "28 Days" which appears to be about some guy who wakes up in a hospital to find the world empty of living people.  Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't there a movie like this done in the early 1980's?  I think it had a guy who wakes up and finds he's the only person on Earth but then bumps into 2 women and then things get nasty somehow...

It's been a while since I saw this movie and i've forgotten what its called, how it occurred, and how it ended.  Now, has anyone seen my alzheimers medication?  ;)

It was called "Night of the Comet", made in 1984.

Without seeing 28 Days yet, it may relate to that 70s flick, "The Omega Man," where Charleton Heston met this chick with a fro and they were the only 2 people left, and these night creatures came out to hunt humans for tasty snacks.

BTW, the movie you are referring to is called "28 Days Later", not "28 Days", a different movie about alcoholism starring Sandra Bullock. "Night of The Comet" and "The Omega Man" have similar zombie plots.
