I didn't listen to much dance stuff, but when I wuz bar hopping in the later half of the 80's, I used to go to this bar that had what they call "Psychodelic Thursdays" where they played classic rock.  8)

Occasionally, the dj would throw the odd dance, or disco, song in there for laughs.  Usually it was songs from the likes of Devo, ABBA, Blondie, BeeGee's, etc...  ;D

Although, one song that did stand out in my memory was "I Like Big Butts" by Sir Mix-A-Lot.  That song just cracks me up!!  ;D
