Anybody remember this trippy puppet show? It came out in like '80 or '81. I recently bought a 1 hr. VHS tape of it...boy did it bring back memories!  :D

Yep! I used to watch it every morning before I went to school. The only character I can remember off the top of my head is Gary Gnu and his, "No gnews is good gnews" catchphrase.   :)

I used to watch that before school, too!  I remember Gary Gnu... but not too much of the other characters.

Was there also some sort of giant elephant-like character?  This was also the same show that had Marvin Hamlisch (?) playing piano???

Yeah, Edison was the elephant (the gardener). I'm not sure about Marvin Hamlisch though. Roy, played by Ray Stephens, was the cast member seen behind the synthesizer.

Wow, thanks Izod!  That brought back so many memories!  I used to tape commercials and theme songs back in the mid-late 80's onto cassettes..and I recently found them.  Space Coaster was on it.  Played it to my 10 year old son, he thought it was weird.  ???  Can't imagine why?
Thanks for the link too, that was cool!

Thanks Izod! I can't believe this show was 22 years ago? Whatever became of the crew these days after 20 years later?

The only info on the crew that I've been able to find is at the link below. There's a Biography selection on the site, but some of the links don't seem to work.  :-/
