Subject: The Cosby Show

Did anyone out there watch the Cosby Show in the 80's??  I absolutely loved that show and watch the reruns on Nick at Nite now.  My favorite episode was when Rudy brought Kenny to their house.  She didn't call him Kenny though, she changed his name to Bud.

I adorbed the Cosby Show; never missed an episode. I wanted to be the only white child of Heathcliff and Claire Huxtable!!!  ;D

The Cosby Show was great. I only watched it a few times but I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the family house. I felt it was too perfect sometimes.

It reminds me of The 80s!  :D

Loved The Cosby Show! Although I thought the later seasons with Olivia and Pam weren't as good. I used to have the biggest crush on Lisa Bonet, too!  ;D

My favorite episodes were 1) Cliff's parents' 49th wedding anniversary with the Ray Charles song-and-dance number, 2) The Huxtibles turn their house into "The Real World" for Theo and 3) Denise makes Theo her own version of the Gordon Gartrell designer shirt.

When I try on clothes that are too large for me, I still say to my brother "It's tucked into my *socks*!" :D

I liked the way Rudy wanted to see if Dizzy Gillespie could fit a whole chicken into his cheeks!

I did not watch it in the 80's when it first ran, but I did like it in the 90's when I watched it in syndication. I also watched a Different World (which I thought was a better show), and was sad when Lisa Bonet left the show. She was so cute.

Errrr... I feel a rant comming on...

And she left the show for what? Lenny Kravitz? Come on, how can you leave Cosby for Lenny? Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, what dope were you on? At least you made that movie where you get naked with Robert Deniro. Never would have seen that on the cosby show.

Okay... back to sanity...

My favorite episode of the cosby show was when Theo and Cliff had their talk, the "I brought you into this world and I'll take you out" episode. I do not remember if that was also the same episode where Theo got his earing. But it was very funny. The whole show was good. They should have kept going for a few more years.

Different World? Was that the one with a token foster kid for every race? Or am i confusing it with something else 'World'? :P

I dunno what show you are reffering to. There were no foster kids.

Different World was where Denise Huckstible went to Hillman College and lived in a dorm and got to meet Dwayne Wayne and Whitney (who I thought was so hot!.. Jasmine Guy), and there was even a white chick who lived on the floor the first season. I thought she was too stereotypical with the way some white people acted black in the early 90's. They had a place called the "pit" where they all ate with a cook who reminded me of loius gosset jr. It was a great show.
