Subject: Mr Majeka

Can any one else remember this spectacular children's programme!!  I have a feeling that it may only have been on in Britain.  It was on in the late 80's / early 90's and was about a mad old professor in a loud suit with big white hair, who used to befriend / help the children in his neighbourhood....
It was really bizarre!

Although I liked Stanley Baxter who played Mr Majeika I couldn't stand the show.

I loved Mr Majeika with Stanley Baxter in it. I don't remember much about it apart from the fact that Majeika's haystack style hair would flap when he was about to do something magical.

I wish ITV would put that back on the telly.

Here's a website for you Kay.
