Subject: Help!  Who can remember chinese jump rope games?

Written By: DolliT on 07/22/03 at 06:18 p.m.

I was in a craft store the other day and found a chinese jump rope.  Whoo hoo!  But now I can't remember all the different games we played.  I remember the basic jumps: in, out, side, side, on, in, out.  And we would play onsies, twosies, threesies, washing machine, slideies, the diamond and many others, I just can't remember them.  I want to teach them to my daughter to play at school with her friends.  HELP!

TEXT I remember that game .. one of them we played was went like this
in it
out it
side by side
on it
in it
out it
Keep doing this and raise up the rope each time alittle bit.. until you cant jump it or do the rounds properly .. then switch that person lost .. or the next person has to try to beat the last player.
Hope that helps.. LOL
I cant believe I remembered This..ha ha

We always played it as follows:
Start out on ankles
In
Out
Side by Side
On
Off
Criss-Cross
Then we would move it up to calfsies and repeat.  Then up to knees and then thighs.
