Subject: I need some good power ballads

Written By: Gram_Reaper on 07/29/03 at 02:02 p.m.

I need some good power ballads to play at this gig me and my band have in a month. We already decided upon Journeys-Faithfully and we need about two more(Its a friends dinner and dance b-day party). I need some other good ones that have a little riff in them so we can still have some fun playing them.

-"Winds of Change" by the Scorpions
-"Headed for a Heartbreak" by Winger

The aforementioned songs are good examples. It's when a heavy metal/hard rock group (if you can call them that) gets sappy.

No..."Almost Paradise" was by Mike Reno (from Loverboy) and Ann Wilson (from Heart). It would be a good song if it weren't for Mike Reno, who practically ruins everything he touches with his terrible voice.

Absolutely Vile
