Theres this video I remember watching back in the eighties that was animated. I remember it having a cat walking down a street. I have this vague memory of it being the Specials. But every song I hear by the Specials is ska and I know it wasnt a ska song. Maybe I have the wrong band. I wish I had more info but thats all I know(and its not Paula Abdul or anything crappy like that) . This has been driving me crazy for years and years.Someone please help!!!

Probably The Rolling Stones' "Harlem Shuffle" from 1986.
It was animated and featured a cat.

thanks for the suggestion but it definately wasnt harlem shuffle. It was more of an alternative song. sigh...probably take this one to my grave. thanks anyway

I was going to suggest the Stray Cats but if it was an alternative type track it wasn't them either !

There was a Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine video of "Bad Boys" that featured cats. They weren't cartoon cats. They were men wearing cat costumes similar to the ones worn in the Broadway musical Cats. Could this be it?
