This is a tough one!!!!! I would ask Morrissey loads of questions...about life, happiness/depression, vegetarianism...everything!! I would ask him why he chose not to be vegan, for example. We could talk for hours and hours and hours...

Is a vegan the same thing as a vegetarian?  People who aren't vegetarians probably aren't vegetarians because they like meat too much.  I know that's my reason.

That where's the beef thing was really funny!  :D

This is where things get complicated. There are many kinds of vegetarians, and they all have technical terms, most of which I don't remember. There are vegetarians who don't eat meat but consume dairy products and eggs, those who just don't eat red meat but still eat chicken and fish and dairy (are they really vegetarians though?)...and then there are those who won't eat anything that moos, clucks, swims, oinks, breathes, etc., nor any byproduct of these animals. Those people are called vegans. If you really want to be animal-friendly, you'd be a vegan. I would, but unfortunately I love dairy too much...and I love fish. The rest I can do without.

Do you know how animals die?

A vegan is like a militant vegetarian taken to extreme.  They think nobody should eat any meat, nor use any animal products.  Some will even go as far as suggesting mothers not breast feed their children, and that you should only eat dead plants.  And no, I am not making this up.

If the vegans are that extreme, wouldn't they really not be allowed to eat at all, because doesn't even wheat and stuff come from plants?  And vegetables are plants too!

I did not say they made sense.  But by "Live Plants", from what I understand that means plants that are still growing, and produce seeds.

Myself, I am proud to be a carniverous omnivore.  :)

I think John's married, too, isn't he? I haven't kept up. I know Nick's married...and Simon... I think Andy's been married for a long time now, and I'm pretty sure Roger is. I'm still not quite sure about John.

Ah, well...if I can play along...Martin Gore's unfortunately married with three kids. But on the other hand, Alan Wilder's not technically married to anyone, just living with someone...so there might be hope for me yet!! ;D

Oh wait...I forgot...I'm married!!! D'oh!!!! :D
