Nobody i know has ever heard of Zoobaleezoo!  Please, somebody tell me im not crazy and that there was actually a show about an alien planet with musical animals!!!  Ben Vereen was in it as a narrator of sorts.  I checked BenVereen.com and it doesn't even mention this show!

Remember?  there was the artistic lion; dramatic fox; cockatoo!!!!!; the pink kangaroo that played the keyboard; some bear..   :P

You are not crazy. That used to be one of my favorite shows. I STILL walk around singing the theme song! The fox and the parrot-type woman were my favorites! Go to ZoobileeZoo.com :)

it was funny because it made no sense.  Okay, so there's an alien planet with some colorful animals on it.  The animals have hobbies, and on the side play in a band or act in plays at the fox's theatre.  Then weird creatures would randomly visit them and in the end they were friends and rocked out. the end. haha ;D

hey, does anyone know the name of the show that used to be on Nickelodeon?... it was about a department store, and had maneqquins that would come to life.  There was also a puppet security guard and a little mouse that always wore a feather boa! haha

OMG!!! It was called "Today's Special"!  That it the first show I ever remembered watching as a kid!  Ya, the lady was incharge of coming into the department store before it opened to set up the displays.  And then the guy maneqquin came to life! And the puppets I remember were Sam the Securityguard and a mouse (I forget her name).

I only remember 2 episodes though. One was when the male maneqquin (does anyone remember his name?) was shrunken by a magic machine and they had to bring him back to his normal size.  The other one was that the woman and the man had to find the brick with the year the building was built on it or the department store would have to be closed down.  I remember the brink was found behind a wall in the mouse's house.  ;D I also remember the mouse knitting this really long scarf.

Wow, that show brings back memories. However, I think I saw the reruns of the show in the early 90's.

Back on topic now, I've never seen Zoobilee Zoo at all. Sorry.

yeah, i only remember ONE episode of Today's Special.. that was where the mouse was trying to win a Cruise Trip by saving up cereal box upc's..haha  and all you could see in her mouse hole were cereal boxes and her bloated belly..

I was living overseas when i first saw Zoobileezoo.  I hadn't seen it since, when i moved to the states in 1989.  Although, that show was really different, and came on after Mr. Rogers so it was kinda hard to forget. :D

Jeff the mannequin, Jodie the store designer, Muffy the mouse - yes, I was a long-time watcher.  Here, for your enjoyment - the Today's Special Website.

My own special memory was not about an episode at all, but thinking to myself everytime the show started, "Does the title mean that Today *is* Special, or that this episode is Today's Special episode?"

But then, I was weird like that.
